Happy Easter everyone..... .....This is Seren my latest bunny make....... My friend Daphne asked B. what I was making. and when he said. "a rabbit", she said, "tell Pat to call it Seren. " Seren is Welsh for 'star' and can be a girls or boys name. It was my eldest son's birthday was a few days ago; we called him 'baby star' for a few weeks before we chose his name - Sean (he is 31 now). Seren is dressed in Easter colours: dungarees with pale primrose striped cotton trousers, trimmed with yellow ric rac and pale blue stiped ribbon, also at the waist band. The bib and straps are deep yolk- coloured felt, with a sweet wooden heart button in the centre, and, decorated with turquoise striped buttons. Seren's orange and white striped T-shirt has been recycled from a baby vest that used to belong to my great niece Greta. The body is made of beige mock linen material and the ears are from pretty fresh flowered cotton that remind me of Spring in the Herefordshire countryside . Just managed to get my wellies on and step into Dinmore woods, to snap my favourite primroses, in between the April showers. The primrose really is the country queen. I love my wellies, they are covered in little hare motifs. . . . . . . . . and back at home, more Eastertide flowers, bunnies and chocolate. . . . . Going on an Easter egg hunt tomorrow at National Trust Weir Gardens. If the weather is kind I hope to get a few photos to show you. Take good care and have a lovely Easter. x
