Another year over: I had so many photos to share that didn't make on to my blog, some I'm adding just a few now. .. I beg your indulgence.... before wishing you all a prosperous and peaceful New Year! My candle lit from a gorgeous table decoration, (thank you so much Anne) beautiful cards from dears with a generous hearts and spirits. . . . . . . . . . . I always light candles for 'auld acquaintance', family and friends who have passed on, as well as for those near and dear to my heart who are far away. A happy day, before the floods and leaves were blown away. Our nephew and niece Stuart, Sarah and their children Winnie and Greta visiting for the afternoon, enjoying playing and running through the autumn leaves. Last August, helping Che and Becky prepare a rustic vintage stall to display their wedding photography at a local Wedding Fayre. There was definitely a glut of apples this year .... a delicious apple cake made from Mary Stearns fool proof recipe which can be found on Sarah Raven's site. Had a lovely visit from Arlene and John who had brought a fairy house made of bark and covered in jewels from their grandchildren Scarlett and Matilda. Not the best photos but must be shown as I know they sometimes look at my blog. Thank you so much x A hexie pincushion from scraps, having fun at the NEC with a long arm quilting machine, walking with Denise, at Peterstow, Ross on Wye, earlier this year; we walked through a wondrous field of violas and past a meadow full of cowslips. Beautiful island of Symi, Greece I was lucky enough to go to in May.
