I have two new calendars this year - the one above from my son Che , with twelve of his wonderful photos. This one depicts a sunrise on Clee Hill, Shropshire. More of his photos can be seen on his website www.chebirchhayesphotography.com The calendar below was purchased from Claire Leggett and has her beautiful colourful flowers, a different view for every month. My photo doesn't do her colours here justice. It fits perfectly on a spot on my wall near the door. More of Claire's fabulous art work can be found here at www.claireleggett.co.uk. I also regularly enjoy reading Claire's blog posts. After a 2015 calendar I thought I might follow with a personal Alphabet Board..... A ... Abundance - Asana - aware - Autumn makes B ... I like the pattern the telegraph lines make to add dramatic effect. One of the many splendid trees in Churchill Gardens; one of my short walks to get my daily dose of winter air and sunshine ( vitamins to keep the aging bones healthy). And below from the same gardens . . yellow strong Mahonia bush and pretty pink Spindle with bright Primulas growing below. This last image I quite liked as it is of a litter bin and it seemed that nature was attempting to upcycle the rubbish!

I have resorted to stealing one of my son's football calendars today as we still hadn't got around to getting one. It's not quite as nice as yours. ;) Thank you for popping by. I haven't taken part in a swap since before we moved to Germany in 2012 so looking forward to this one. :)

Thanks Fiona - I've never taken part in a swap at all before - this one has a lovely theme and should be fun. Hope you keep in touch. Love Pat x
